When the brief before the shoot has the phrases “more human” and “not cookie-cutter.” You know these portraits for Opus Consulting are going to be good.

Opus Consulting, a local consulting firm, has been around for quite some time. Specializing in finance, but also offering broader business offerings based on needs. They are adept at creating custom plans, drawing from their team’s vast expertise. With a growing team and a need to refresh their visual branding, an overhaul of the headshots was needed.

Part of my process for Corporate Headshot projects like this is having a discussion about branding and how the headshots will reflect the company’s mission and purpose. These topics often influence the choice in backgrounds, lighting, and overall aesthetic of the headshots. So getting to know the brand is important before we even snap a photo.

Another perk of setting up a Corporate Headshot project is the ability to have the studio brought to you, or utilize my downtown location for individual sessions. Opus’ office didn’t have the best space for setting up my mobile studio, and everyone had busy schedules so individual sessions it was. Customized availability gave everyone a chance to work with their schedules to fit in a quick headshot.
And as part of my Onboarding Headshot Program, we can replicate the same look for new hires as their team expands.

Here is a brief scroll to see their new headshots on their new site!
