You know the feeling when you wear multiple hats in your life and they all just seem to come together? Or you may be under the weight of the many hats you wear? Either way, we all have multiple hats we wear throughout our lives, and many at the same time. That was the theme for this month’s self-portrait.
Entrepreneurs and small business owners know firsthand what it takes to keep things running oftentimes being the sole person behind the scenes. Juggling the marketing, customer service, design, website managing, etc. Not just business owners but parents, anyone really, can have the same experience. Sometimes it’s a jumbled mess other times a nice stack. And everything in between. I am speaking from my own experience and know many can relate when they have too much on their plate so it is not just business owners.
Finding the time to break away from it all and get yourself aligned can be tough. Relinquishing the control to someone else is not easy either. I can say that those things can be a game-changer. Finding systems, people, and tools to help or alleviate the often self-induced burdens will give you that time away. Or give you more time to devote to your business instead of managing the mundane.
I love talking with Personal Branding clients about this topic.
Find the systems that work for you. That is the most important thing. For business people, a CRM or task/project management tool can be that first step. I use 17hats to manage all the customer interaction and tasks. It’s my home base.
