It’s Senior Season! Photographing seniors is often an amazing time. For me and their family; especially mom. Why not add some family photos into the mix!
We did just that for the Paquin family and it was so much fun. Doing 2 shorter shoots; one for the family and then the other for Maria, who is a Greely High School Class of 2021 Senior. She is a dedicated musician, avid runner, and cross-country athlete. As well as a member of the Ultimate Frisbee team. She is so humble yet confident and I loved working with her.
For the family session we went to the Twin Brook Recreation complex in Cumberland, which boasts open fields, athletic fields, disc-golf cages and trails through the woods. A great place to go. We timed it with the evening sun and caught the golden light.
For Maria’s senior session we opted for Maine Audubon and Mackworth Island. It was an overcast day but we got some great images in the open fields of Gilsland Farm. She wanted some natural elements as well as the water so these were a stone throws away from each other and made for a great change of scenery.
I love working with clients to capture those moments as it is the end of one season and the beginning of another. Senior season is about the seniors and who they are at that time.
