A combined session of close friends makes for a lot of great moments. These Old Orchard Beach Seniors were a ton of fun to work with and I am thrilled to be their photographer.
Gabe, who has been attending the Southern Maine Music Academy for several years and who I taught in the percussion section there, brought up the idea of the combined shoot. Honestly, I hadn’t done a combined shoot like this before but was really excited about it.
These guys have been friends for quite some time. All are involved in music in some form or another. Gabe is a percussionist and member of the Old Orchard Beach High School Drumline, Ryan plays trumpet and Bass Guitar, and Ethan is in the chorus. All amazing musicians.
The day started out foggy at Fort Williams park which was amazing. I got there a little early to scout spots and took it in for a little bit. The families arrived and we had a little masked entourage of parents as we found some spots at the gritty old cement structures.
Heading back to the cars for a quick outfit change and the sun had appeared so we ventured out to the pebble beach for another look. We made sure to get individual shots of each of the gentlemen as well as some group shots.
It was a pleasure working with these guys. I wish them all the best as they finish out their unique end of their Old Orchard Beach High School career.
