The Nordica Trio, a Portland Maine chamber music ensemble, has been reinvigorated. A fresh start coming off a little hiatus, these three now have an updated look and drive to bring the group to new heights.
Marty, Karen, and Graybert have been performing together in various capacities for many years, and not always as this ensemble. The pull to make the Nordica Trio more of a permanent fixture brought them back together. Seeing their relationships first hand you can tell there is a lot of history between them which makes a chamber ensemble that much more dynamic.

Coming out of the pandemic and wanting to just play music with people they admire and enjoy playing spawned the need for an update. One that showed their years of working together. A mix of modern styling with the energy of long-time best friends. The Nordica Trio is the musical representation of their relationships.

It was a pleasure working with these amazing musicians for new imagery. A focus was put on images that could be used for not only a new website but also for posters and marketing materials for the upcoming performances. I can’t wait to see these in the wild. We all agreed it does capture the essence of the ensemble and the personalities of the individuals. I love what that comes together in an image.
