A Musical Family

Honestly, I love what I do. Working with incredibly talented, passionate, dedicated people who live their art. It is even more special when their art is an integral part of their family. This musical family was no exception.

Their short stay in Maine was only a stepping stone to what is in store for them. Trae and Kelsey are incredibly talented and dedicated to their art of music and more importantly sharing and teaching that art to others. Their generous hearts and love for what they do is at the forefront of their family dynamic and it has been an honor to have befriended them.

Before they left for their next adventure in Kentucky, we set up a portrait shoot for Kelsey who wanted some new headshots. It turned into a family photo shoot and I think we can all agree that it was well worth it. Their little one is a ball of expressions and loved music already. I love being a portrait photographer because of the deep understanding we get just from looking at a portrait and interpreting the expression.

A portrait isn’t finished until it is printed and I am thrilled to see these images on their walls in their new home. I wish this wonderful musical family all the best but I know they will rock it.
