A Couple’s Reconnection

A wedding during a pandemic is hard. These two moved to a new city and had a brief ceremony at City Hall. No real formal photos of them together so I mentioned bringing your wedding attire and we can create some portraits. This whole shoot was a ton of fun. Especially after working with them on their personal branding images. This session is all about the couple’s reconnection.

Legacy Portraits have been a part of our society for eons and have changed over the years through technological advances and a little modernization. A little celebrity styling and these portraits can be out of a magazine with the real focus being, in this instance, on the couple’s reconnection. I love creating imagery like this because of that. Removing distractions and allowing the space to reconnect.

This got me thinking. What a great way to reconnect as a couple on an anniversary, or better yet, any random day just because. Thrown on your wedding attire and have portraits created that you wouldn’t have gotten on your wedding day. More intimate without the hustle and bustle of a ceremony and celebrating with guests. A great way for couples to reconnect.
