How to Prepare

Download this Prep Guide or view this blog post for more detailed information on how to prepare for your Headshot Session, including wardrobe tips. Below are some samples of headshots that we will be replicating.

Session Information

We will have time to do 1-2 outfits so bring the ones you feel great in.

When you look good you feel good, When you feel good you look good

Everything will be ready for you. When you arrive we will start by reviewing your outfits and make any final decisions before we start shooting. You will be guided through posing and expressions so don’t worry about not knowing what to do. I got you.

We will work through a few angles and do the same with the other outfits.

After we get a bunch of images, we will review them on the TV here at the studio to select your final image. Additional images are available for purchase if you need them for other purposes.

Final images will be delivered to you and the point person for your company in 3 file formats: a square crop profile format, web resolution, and print resolution files

Studio Location

The Session will be held at the Wohler & Co. Studio at the bottom of Exchange Street in Portland, Maine.

The entrance is on Fore Street, right at the bottom of Exchange Street between Maxwell’s Pottery and Cool as a Moose. Head up to the 4th floor (3 flights of stairs) and we are right at the top of the stairs to the left, #402.

I really love getting to know our clients through an in-depth process that brings out the best of everyone. Seeing them break through their own blocks and insecurities to let their true self come through is inspiring.

Everyone is an artist of their passion and purpose. Finding ways to keep doing what we can't live without. We come alive when we are living this. That is our art and that is the side of you that needs to be seen. To me, this is the most authentic version of ourselves we can show the world.

For some, their art is is painting or music. For others, it is helping with financial planning or guiding people through their lives. Helping people reconnect to their art through portraits and giving them images of themselves they are proud of is why I love what I do.
